More information is coming to light about 52 year old Thomas Mair, arrested for the shooting and stabbing death of British M-P Jo Cox.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has released records that reveal Mair was a supporter of the National Alliance, described as a Neo-Nazi group. Mair purchased a manual from the National Alliance in 1999 that included instructions on how to build a pistol.
The National Alliance was involved in a Saint John court case when a judge ruled the group could not inherit a 250 thousand dollar estate that was bequeathed by Robert McCorkill in 2004.
M-P Nathan Cullen of BC became emotional when paying tribute to Cox, saying she used her voice for those who have none and harnessed her limitless love even for those people who are consumed by hate.
