Driver Sought In Riverview Hit And Run

Codiac RCMP are seeking help to find a driver following a hit and run involving a cyclist in Riverview.

On Saturday around 8 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Yale Avenue and Whitepine Road where an SUV struck a cyclist.

The driver of the SUV failed to remain at the scene.

The 15-year-old cyclist suffered minor injuries.

The only description police have is that it was a burgundy-coloured SUV and the licence plate number is not available.

Anyone who witnessed this hit and run, has dash-camera footage or has any information that may help the ongoing investigation is asked to contact Codiac RCMP at 506-857-2400.
