The Carnival Explosion doughnut, won’t be appearing on Tim Horton’s shelves anytime soon.
Unfortunately, the Moncton woman who created the delicious donut flavour, didn’t make it to the next round of the Duelling Doughnuts competition.
Rachel Keays was one of eight finalists chosen, but yesterday, the numbers were narrowed to four.
Keays says even though her donut creation isn’t advancing to the next round, that’s okay. She had an amazing experience and it has been a lot of fun.
She says she met a lot of people and tried a lot of amazing flavours of doughnuts.
She also hasn’t ruled out possibly trying again next year.
