Donations Continue to Pour In For Alyssa Sippley

An update on a Baie-Saint-Anne girl who lost parts of her arms and legs due to type A strep throat bacteria.

Alyssa Sippley was admitted to the IWK Hospital in Halifax in December, and the support for her and her family has been overwhelming.

There has been an outpouring of generosity through a fundraising website. Over $105, 000 has been raised in just 17 days.

They’re hoping to raise $150, 000.

There have also been many kind words on a Facebook page set up for Alyssa, many from supporters who have never even met the young girl or her family.
