Dieppe Shootings Suspect Turns Himself In

A man wanted on a warrant for a double shooting in Dieppe is now in police custody.

Mounties say 25-year-old Olivier Tumba turned himself in at Codiac RCMP headquarters Friday afternoon.

Tumba has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault and an arrest warrant had been issued on Wednesday.

The charges follow a shooting last week outside Angie’s Show Palace.

When officers arrived, two men were suffering from gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Tumba is being held in custody and will appear in Moncton court on Monday.
