Dennis Oland Expected Back In Court Today

It’s Motions Day in the Court of Queen’s Bench and it’s expected a new date will be announced for Dennis Oland’s trial for second degree murder in the death of his father, Richard in 2011.

Oland was found guilty last December and sentenced to serve 10 years before being eligible for parole.

He appealed and the New Brunswick Court of Appeal overturned the verdict, ruling the trial judge erred in his instructions to the jury.

Oland is expected to be on hand in court.
