The Canada Revenue Agency putting the call out for volunteers to come lend a helping hand filing income tax returns for those in the community who need it.
The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is a free program that helps people with a modest income and simple tax situation. Ashley Clarke of the C-R-A tells us you don’t need to be a tax expert to do this kind of volunteer work however it does help if you have some basic tax knowledge.
