A Woodstock area man serving time in Renous for the second degree murder of an elderly woman has died.
Kyle Edmund Scott, 20, was found unresponsive in his cell earlier today.
Staff members began performing CPR and emergency services were called.
Scott was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:20 this morning.
In May, Scott was convicted of killing 82-year-old Sarah Kennedy in the Woodstock area.
Correctional Service Canada says it will be reviewing the circumstances of the incident as it does in all cases involving the death of an inmate.
