A Conservative MP has crossed the floor to join Justin Trudeau’s Liberals.
At a news conference in Ottawa this morning, Ontario MP Eve Adams has announced she’s leaving the federal Tories after “a long and very difficult period of consideration”.
Adams went on to say, “I did not make this decision over night, but I no longer feel a part of the Conservative family.”
Adams added she delivered the news to Prime Minister Stephen Harper this morning.
Liberal leader Justin Trudeau was by her side when she made the announcement.
