This is the second last day of the “30 Days of Community Caring Campaign” in Metro Moncton.
Dale Hicks, president of Food Depot Alimentaire, says 2000 pounds of food was collected at the Wildcats game during the “Be a fan, bring a can” event last night.
Also, from the Atlantic Loto “Fill The Sleigh” campaign, $1365.00 was raised plus 244 pounds of food.
From Kent Homes “Elf Esteem” campaign, 1000 pounds of food was collected.
And so far, 1600 of the 1750 Christmas food boxes have been sponsored.
