We’re getting closer to the Coldest Night of the Year in Metro Moncton.
It’s a family-friendly walking fundraiser to support hungry and homeless youth in the region.
Spokesperson Cathy Manuel says both participants and volunteers are needed.
“To register, go to coldestnightoftheyear.org. You could also sign up to volunteer because we do need more. We have 40 altogether and we need at least another ten,” she notes.
Manuel says this year’s goal is to raise $40,000 which will support Youth Impact in Moncton.
The Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk will be held this Saturday, February 20th and starts at Wedgewood Hall on Lockhart Avenue.
