Codiac RCMP Charge 37 Drivers In One Day Blitz

Codiac RCMP charged 37 drivers in Greater Moncton with violations of the Motor Vehicles Act in one day.

Officers spent Tuesday checking the speed of approximately 75-hundred vehicles, targeting drivers going more than 25 kilometres per hour over the limit.

Thirty drivers were charged with speeding.

As well, during yesterday’s lunch hour, officers charged seven more drivers for other offences, like cellphone use while driving and not wearing a seatbelt.
