Classes Resume At Halifax School Following Bomb Threat

A Halifax school was evacuated this morning after a bomb threat.

Halifax Regional Police say students at John W. MacLeod Elementary on Purcells Cove Road were safely evacuated to a nearby school.

K-9 units searched the building but nothing suspicious was found.

Classes started after 10 a.m.

It’s not the first threat the school has received.

Classes were also dismissed last May because of a bomb threat.
