The City of Moncton is hosting another supplies drive in support of the many Syrian refugees in Greater Moncton.
They have condensed their list of the many items needed to help the refugees establish their life here.
Items are being accepted at 50 MacNaughton Avenue in the Caledonia Industrial Park..until February 14th.
” Small appliances: alarm clock, microwave
” Cleaning: broom/dustpan, mop/bucket, garbage cans/bags, Windex
” Laundry: hamper, basket, ironing board, iron, drying rack, sewing kit (needles, thread, scissors, etc.)
” Furniture: desk, dresser, large kitchen tables/chairs, floor/table lamps, TV stands
” Kitchen: bowls, baking pans/cookie sheets, measuring cups/spoons, serving trays
” Hygiene: First Aid kits
” Baby Items: booster/car seats (not expired), high chairs, stroller, swing
Since December 29th, the community has welcomed over 175 Syrians and the City of Moncton expects there will be a total of 250 by the end of Febraury…
