Cineplex Says Health And Safety A Priority Amid COVID-19 Concerns

Cineplex has issued an update to moviegoers regarding its reaction to growing health concern of COVID-19.

President and CEO Ellis Jacob confirmed the theatre chain is following the lead of Canadian public health authorities and is making the health, safety and well-being of its employees and guests its top priority.

Theatres are introducing enhanced cleaning protocols in all locations and increasing reminders on health and safety measures while urging anyone who feels they’re exhibiting symptoms to avoid theatres.

Cineplex says it’ll continue to monitor the impact of coronavirus and provide ongoing updates as needed.
