The Food Depot Alimentaire is gearing up for its Christmas box program.
Executive Director Chantal Senecal says they offer a Christmas dinner to those in need during the holiday season.
She says, “A lot of the food banks close during the holidays and people still need Christmas dinner, We want to make sure that we can still feed people for about a week and provide a whole Christmas dinner.”
Boxes contain things like, a turkey, potatoes, carrots, stuffing, bread, milk and cookies.
Regular users of the food bank, will just have to call in to confirm all of the information is correct. If you are are new to the food bank and would like a Christmas box, you’ll have to call first and then go in for an appointment.
Registrations are being accepted until December 18th, by calling 383-1133.
