Officials have ruled that a fire at an apartment building in Riverview was accidental.
The fire broke out in a basement apartment on Pine Glen Road at around 10 o’clock on New year’s Eve.
They were to unable pinpoint the exact cause of the fire, because of a lack of evidence, but they were able to determine that it was not suspcisious.
About twenty residents were forced out of the apartment building after the fire broke out. Tenants from the second and third floors were able to return.
Residents from the first floor were forced to find other accomodations because of smoke damage.
