Canadian Blood Services In Need Of Donors

Blood donations are desperately needed.

A harsher than normal winter, followed by donors who often take long summer vacations, has left the Canadian Blood Services in need of donations.

Director of Donor Relations in Atlantic Canada Peter Macdonald says Canadian Blood Services needs to collect a minimum of 16,000 units of blood each week to meet the needs of patients…

The donation process takes about an hour and includes an interview, an iron test, and then finally your donation.
