Boil Water Order Issued In Dieppe

Parts of Dieppe are currently under a boil water order.

This comes after a water main break on Centrale Street yesterday..

This is for properties between 581 and 628 Centrale Street as well as those located on Aimé and Damien streets and Firmin and Dométhilde Crescents.

All water that will be used for preparing infant formulas or juices, coffee or tea, washing vegetables, cooking, and brushing teeth, must be boiled for at least one minute…

A reminder that home water filtration systems will not eliminate microorganisms.

It is not necessary to boil water for showering, bathing, or laundry.

A notification will be issued when the boil water order is lifted.

If you have any questions, please contact the Water and Sewer Department at 877.7990 or call 850.5104.
