A boil water advisory has been issued by the Department of Health for the Town of Bouctouche for users on the south side of the Bouctouche River.
Roads affected by this boil order include Acadie Rd, the Chebooktoosk Cottages, the Pays de la Sagouine, Champlain Ave, George rd., Tiffany Ave, Claude Ave, Boucher Ave, Bernard Rd., Louis Bourg Rd., Klomfass Ave., Kanalflakt Way, Héron Court, Irène Ave.
They’re advising residents to bring their water to a rolling boil for one minute before consuming it.
That includes water for drinking, preparing infant formulas and juices, making ice cubes, washing fruits and vegetables, cooking or brushing your teeth…
Water can be used for showering, or bathing, but you should avoid swallowing the water..
