Authorities have recovered the body of a missing soldier in Alberta.
The body of 44-year-old Sergeant Mark Salesse was located yesterday in Banff National Park.
During a military training exercise last week, Salesse was buried by an avalanche.
Salesse was born in Bathurst and his mother lives in Moncton.
In a statement, Prime Minister Stephen Harper extended his heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
