Berryton man dies after crash on Nixon Road

A 54‑year‑old Berryton man died early Friday after his vehicle flipped on Nixon Road near Turtle Creek.

RCMP were called to the rural road at 12:50 a.m. on Friday.

The man was the driver and only person in the vehicle, and he died at the scene from his injuries.

Mounties believe the vehicle lost control around a sharp turn, left the road and overturned.

The investigation is ongoing, and an autopsy will be done to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
