After seven months of hard work construction crews have removed the cones and Acadie Avenue/Amirault Road is now fully open to traffic.
Project Engineer with the City of Dieppe Angele Spencer says the completed project has been a long time coming
“We started the pre design over three years ago, we had to spend a lot of time making sure that we had the right solution and the funding finally came into play this spring so it’s been a few years in the works,” says Spencer.
She says there is still a little bit of property restoration that has to be done but all of the road work was done on schedule and on budget and she says it should remain dry unless we have the storm of the century.
