Three men, who allegedly tried to loot homes in Maugerville affected by the flooding have been charged in Burton Provincial Court.
RCMP say 29-year-old Perth Andover resident Brandon Hatchard and 29-year-old Travis Hunt of Maugerville were each charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.
Chance Leslie, a 25-year-old man from Middle Hainesville is charged with the same offences as well as breaching probation.
All three will make court appearances this week.
The alleged thieves were chased out of the home of Markus Harvey around 5 AM Sunday and escaped in a canoe, but Harvey managed to get a picture of them fleeing the scene.
