Trump Taken To Hospital Friday Evening

U.S. President Donald Trump will be working from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for the next few days.

Trump was taken to the hospital by helicopter Friday evening where White House officials say he will continue treatment for COVID-19.

White House Physician Dr. Sean Conley said the president’s care has included the experimental antibody treatment Regeneron and remdesivir.

Remdesivir has not yet been approved by the FDA, though the Trump administration pushed through an emergency use authorization for the antiviral drug earlier this year.

Conley said the president is ‘fatigued but in good spirits,’ while CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta reported anonymous White House officials have said there are ‘concerns’ about Trumps’s condition.

Joe Biden and his wife Jill tested negative for the virus on Friday after the Democratic Party candidate shared the debate stage with Trump on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, multiple current and former Trump staffers announced positive tests Friday, including Campaign Manager Bill Stepien, and former Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway.
