The Georges Dumont hospital has officially launched their annual fundraising campaign.
The Tree of Hope’s goal is to improve comfort and care for cancer patients through the purchase of specialized equipment for the Oncology Center.
Funds will also be used to offer advanced training opportunities for specialized oncology teams in New Brunswick.
Executive Director Nadine Martin says while things will be a bit different amid the pandemic, the centre’s needs are still as pressing as ever.
Since its start in 1989, the Tree of Hope campaign has raised over 30 million dollars.
