Paul Richard has announced he will be a candidate for the City of Moncton’s Ward 4 in the upcoming municipal election.
Mr. Richard ran for the seat in the 2016 byelection to replace the late René Landry, coming up short by only 20 votes.
Richard says he is committed to serving the people of Ward 4 by being responsive to their needs and being present for them.
He says he will answer emails, respond to calls and meet with constituents, something he believe hasn’t been happening to its full capacity since 2016.
Richard has been involved in a number of minor sports leagues as well as an active volunteer at some of the city’s Francophone schools.
He also sits on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Moncton.
