Donation of winter hats, scarves, and mitts are needed for kids in need.
What Kids Need Moncton launched its clothing program last spring.
Founder Amanda Pooley says fall and winter clothing has been in high demand.
“We currently have over 100 children that are registered for fall and winter clothing. Specifically right now the age group we are lacking is 7 to 12 year olds, both boys and girls, and both toys and clothing. That seems to be the age group that we really struggling with,” Pooley says.
Pooley says they held an open house last week, “We had 85 children come through in two days, picking up winter coats and footwear. That stuff is all gone.”
Donations can be dropped off at the tennis club at Centennial Park.
What Kids Need Moncton also kicked off its 8th annual Snowflake Station this morning, a program that ensures every child has a toy under their tree at Christmas time.
