Rhys (rees) Williams is the Christian Heritage Party candidate for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe.
It is his first time running for federal politics, but he is happy to be representing the CHP, ” I really wanted a socially and fiscally conservative option on the ballot and I really didn’t see that option here, so I put my name forward.”
Williams says the theme for his campaign is life, family and freedom.
“Protection of life in all of its forms, so that is from conception to natural death. Family is a building block of all society and of freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and also freedom from debt as well,” Williams says.
He says there priorities for the CHP if elected,”So, we have social policies that we would like to put forward, but also we would like to reign in the spending and balance the budget and get more money back in the pockets of Canadians.”
