As thousands remain without power, many are wondering what to do with food in their fridges and freezers.
The Department of Health says an unopened fridge will keep foods cold for about four to six hours.
An unopened full freezer will keep foods frozen for up to 48 hours, while food in a half-full freezer will last for about 24 hours.
Products in your freezer can be refrozen if you still see ice crystals on them.

Any thawed or perishable foods which have been above four degrees for more than two hours should be thrown out.
That includes raw or cooked meat, eggs, casseroles, stews, soups, milk, soft cheeses, homemade mayonnaise or dressings, cooked pasta, potatoes, and rice.
You should also throw out any food items with an unusual colour or odour, or foods which have damaged packaging.
