Over two thousand runners and rocker are expected to attend the first ever Atlantique Rock Run.
Funds raised will go towards the Crossroads for Women, to continue to offer their services.
Natalie Belliveau, Director of Communications for the Run says it’s a family friendly event.
Belliveau says they will be collecting donations at the door and proceeds from the refreshment tent will also go to the Crossroads for Women.
The race is happening on Saturday at 3pm at Bore View Park and they will be accepting last minute registration on site.
The event kicks off with a welcome ceremony and kids fun run.
Following the run, there will be a free concert with headliners Izabelle, The Big Bad Party Band and Christine Campbell.
