A 41-year-old man from Bas-Caraquet has died in a single-vehicle crash.
Shortly after 1 AM on August 10th, Mounties responded to a report of a sudden death at a residence in Bas-Caraquet.
It was later determined that the man had been involved in a crash just a few hours earlier.
RCMP say they believe the man was driving when his vehicle left the road and rolled into a ditch.
A passerby picked the man up and drove him to a residence where he later died from his injuries.
There was no one else in the vehicle at the time.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
