A boil water advisory has been ordered by the Department of Health for parts of Miramichi.
During the advisory, residents are advised to bring their water to a rolling boil for one minute before drinking it , washing fruits or vegetables or brushing your teeth.
Affected areas: Former town of Chatham for all residents from Kelly Road East to 365 Wellington Street (Kerr’s Constuction) and all residents from Saint Thomas Street north to Water Street.
The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
