Atlantic Nationals Road Closures
The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public of delays or detours in the following areas to accommodate the Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza happening from July 3 to July 7, 2019.
Street Closure – Part 1 (From 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 to 3 a.m. Saturday, July 6):
- Main Street will be closed between Mechanic Street and Downing Street leaving the intersection of Main/Mechanic and Main/Downing open.
Street Closure – Part 2 (from 6 a.m. on Friday, July 5 to 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 6):
- Main Street will be closed from Mechanic Street to Lutz Street, leaving the intersections of Main/Mechanic and Main/Lutz open.
- Botsford Street, from Main Street to Queen Street will be closed, leaving the intersection of Botsford/Queen open.
- Westmorland Street, from Main Street to just past the entrance of the Moncton Market, will be closed.
- Downing Street will also be closed.
Noise By-Law exemption:
On Friday, July 5 an exemption has been granted to allow the Atlantic Nationals musical entertainment to continue between 11 p.m. and midnight.
Parking Restrictions:
Motorists are asked to respect restricted parking areas and to park in assigned areas around Centennial Park on July 6 and 7 during Atlantic Nationals.
