Canadian Instagram users may notice a difference on the app in the coming weeks.

Tuesday, ahead of the company’s F8 developer conference, Facebook announced they would be running a test in Canada that removes the total number of likes on photos and video views.
The decision comes after the company received backlash about it’s contribution to mental health and social media addiction.
Facebook says although users will be able to see their own numbers, they will be concealed from other users.
