Fire Damages Home In Dieppe

A home on Thomas Street in Dieppe has been extensively damaged by fire.

Dieppe Fire District Chief Julien Boudreau says they arrived on scene just before 7:30 last night.

He says the fire burned into the attic and then spread outside.

Boudreau says there were around 15 firefighters on scene and it took around 12 minutes to extinguish the flames.

At least one person was home at the time, but they managed to get out safely.
