No one was hurt in a fire at a Riverview home.
Firefighters arrived on Callowhill Road just after 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon to find a large amount of smoke.
Chief Denis Pleau says they were able to contain the fire to a room in the basement.
A utility room was extensively damaged by fire and the rest of the home has smoke damage.
Around 20 firefighters were on scene fighting the blaze.
No one was home when the fire broke out.
The cause is still under investigation.
