Starting in 2020, New Brunswickers will have to begin dialling 10 digits to make a call locally.
The CRTC has approved the addition of a second area code.
It will be 428, and it will go into effect November 21st of 2020.
Customers will begin transitioning to the 10 digit calling in August of the same year.
