A 30-year-old man is facing several charges after Fredericton police seized about $22,000 worth of drugs.
Police say they arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly breaching his probation and seized a vehicle.
Once officers got a search warrant for the vehicle, they found some drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun.
Jeremy Joseph Mazerolle of Minto, N.B., is charged with seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking in controlled substances, including methamphetamines, cocaine, oxycodone and hydromorphone.
He is also charged with several firearms offences, breaching a weapons prohibition order, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say their investigation is continuing.
