A Charlotte County man is facing a slew of charges in connection with two vehicle thefts in the Saint George area.
Police got a call shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday about a pickup truck being stolen in the Pennfield area.
Then around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, a vehicle was stolen from a convenience store on Highway 785 in Utopia.
The owner and a second person gave chase in another vehicle and followed the suspect until he lost control and crashed.
When they approached him, police say he waved a knife and took off into the woods, where he was arrested hours later.
