A 20 year old Moncton man is being treated for self inflicted injuries after an incident in Moncton’s north end earlier today.
Codiac RCMP Staff Sergeant Mario Fortin says around 7:15 this morning they were called about a man on the roof of St. Andrews Church on Hildegard Drive.
He reports the man was threatening to harm himself, and emergency responders cordoned off the area, and blocked off the street between Ivy Road, and Mailhot Avenue.
Fortin adds the man was brought down around noon, and was taken to hospital.
He says they are still investigating and it’s not yet known whether the man will face charges.
