A lot of work has been achieved in the federal Health Department according to Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe MP Ginette Petitpas Taylor who is also the health minister.
She says more work needs to be done but with a cabinet shuffle looming later this week, will she have a chance to do it?
Petitpas Taylor says she received her mandate letter from the Prime Minister Trudeau and continued to tick off the boxes for health portfolio.
“But I also have to say I will choose to serve in whatever capacity that the prime minister asks of me. But as of now, I’m very content on being where I’m at,” she says.
When the prime minister called her last August, Petitpas Taylor adds she accepted the post of health minister with great humility and says she has appreciated the awesome responsibility of being around the cabinet table.
