Al-Pack CEO Louis LeBlanc says this is a $1-million expansion project which will add a new production line and up to 9 new jobs.
“For us, it helps us leap frog a couple years ahead of where we want to be. It helps us invest back into a company that is very strategic on how it goes to market,” he adds.
LeBlanc says Al-Pack is expanding into drawstring bags, flex-tie bags and compost flex-tie bags which he says will push the company into a higher end market.
Al-Pack has 70 employees across Canada including at facilities in Newfoundland and Ontario.
