Heat Wave Smashes Temperature Records For A Third Day

There’s good news this morning with regards to the forecast, the Heat warning has ended, but it still feels very humid so far this morning.

We saw more weather records broken yesterday,in what felt like the hottest and most humid day this week.

At the Greater Moncton Romeo Leblanc International Airport, temperatures hit 34.2 degrees, according to Environment Canada, that smashes another record. This time, from 1983, a temp of 30.6 degrees.

Once again, the hot spot in the province was Miramichi at 36 degrees.

Forecasts today are calling for 24 degrees for Greater Moncton today, which is much more seasonal.

Temperatures were also broken in Fredericton, Saint John and Bouctouche…
