Air conditioners and fans were running at full force in the Hub City yesterday and in other parts of the province as well.
We saw some temperature records broken thanks to this heat wave.
At the Greater Moncton Romeo Leblanc International Airport, we hit a high of 31.6 degrees beating the old record from 1984 of 31 degrees.
Temperatures in Kouchibouguac soared to 33.4 degrees, which is also a record. The previous hot temp was 31.4 set in 1997.
Miramichi had the highest temperatures, .not only in New Brunswick but across the country at 33.5 degrees.
We could see more records broken today, with a forecasted high of 31 for Greater Moncton.
The humidex is once again going to make it feel even warmer, at 35.
