The Gallant government has announced the locations of the final nine Cannabis NB retail stores throughout the province.
Those stores will include three additional locations in the Southeast region in Sackville, Shediac and Richibucto which will open in September.
The previously announced 11 locations will open in July when recreational cannabis is legalized.
Metro Moncton will have three stores – one in the east end, one in the north end and the other in Dieppe on Dieppe Boulevard.
The province says all locations were based upon population demographics, liquor sales and traffic patterns.
The stores will also be an appropriate distance away from schools and daycares.
