Power crews made significant progress today trying to restore electricity to New Brunswickers following the latest winter blast.
NB Power says the number of outages peaked at about 19,000 customers during the storm but that number has been dramatically reduced throughout the day.
Road access and poor visibility in blowing and drifting snow have hampered restoration efforts.
NB Power estimates the majority of customers will be restored by the end of today.
