New Registrations Wanted For Phase Two Of Re-Centre Program

Re-Centre is now accepting new registrations for the second phase of its program.

Phase 2 kicked off last month.

Project Coordinator Tim Pigeon says they are now hoping to increase the number of people recycling with them to 1000, “The goal was always to improve the recycling system, and ultimately how this can become a tool for existing depots and existing redemption centres to improve their business model. We also look to improve efficiency for other centres, and help them improve their business model.”

Re-Centre is into its second year of the three year pilot project. They have two drop off depots for recyclable containers. At the depot on Mountain Road, you can also drop off cardboard and electronics as well.
