Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Majority Of New Brunswick

Nearly the entire province, including the Greater Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton areas are under a severe thunderstorm watch from Environment Canada.

The only areas not under the watch are Campbellton and Restigouche County and the Acadian Peninsula.

The weather agency says that conditions are right for the development of severe thunderstorms that might be capable of producing strong winds, large hail and heavy rain.
