If you have been waiting on word that Centennial Beach is finally open, the City doesn’t have good news.
The City of Moncton says despite all efforts to find a solution to the problems at Centennial Beach, the issues are too substantial to overcome, and it will not be opening this season.
The liner and the structure of the pool itself have failed to the point that repairs are not possible.
They add that the new Centennial Beach is expected to open next year at its location near the Rotary Lodge entrance on St. George Boulevard.
